This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 22, 2008:

I wish it was something noble but honestly I spend hours just looking through all the pages for funny bumper stickers.

Well to me the best bumper stickers are ones that are appropriate to the recipient. So in my opinion, the Ten Best Bumper Stickers of All Time (that I have receieved and are not necessarily in order):
1. a split screen: the left side says Obama 08 and has his picture and the right says McCain 08 but has the picture of Herbert, the creepy old guy from Family Guy
2. “everything will be okay in the end. if it's not okay it's not the end.”
3. “many people have told me that I've changed but the truth is…I think I've just found myself.”
4. “I'm not a full blooded Jew. I'm Jew-ish”
5. a picture of a Taco Bell crunchwrap
6. “I don't make mistakes I date them.”
7. “Say no to drugs. Say yes to tacos.”
8. a picture of me rolled up in a blanket that says “i iz burrito” (thanks to my old roommate for making that one)
9. a picture of a baseball field that says “Diamonds are a girl's best friend”
10. a picture of the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus that says “Abstinence is not 100%”

And what strikes me as funny is that because we are of different decades (I'm 50) and nationalities (Canadian), I don't get most of them. haha
I wrote my questions in italics.

I might recognize a pic of Obama (though I find it confusing that he is referred to as black when he is whiter than many of my blood relatives) if I saw it, but definitely not McCain and since I haven't owned a TV in decades, Herbert would be lost on me. But at lease I sort of get the idea of the politics on this one.

4. “I'm not a full blooded Jew. I'm Jew-ish”. lol. Hey, I'm going to a BarMitzvah lunch today and have to find something that covers most of my skin and it is a stinking hot day. But looking forward to it. I'm not even Jew-ish, so pretty happy to be invited. I wonder if a bumper sticker for me would be: I'm not full blooded Christian but I've been fully watered.
5. a picture of a Taco Bell crunchwrap - um…sheepishly… don't get this one at all though yes, I do know what TacoBell is.
